Vanishing like the sparks that burst and fly away みつからない。。。
Bryn was disgusted. His expression was pinched as he walked stiffly through the common area of the dorms. His hair was sodden but his clothes were dry, if rumpled. One might supposed that he had come fresh from the shower were it not for the considerably soggy backpack in his possession, carried awkwardly a bit to the side so as not to drip too much on his own feet. And that was odd considering that it was hardly overcast at all and there hadn't been a drop of rain all day. True, the weather forecast was calling for scattered showers throughout the afternoon, but if he had been caught in a sudden cloudburst his clothing would be as drenched as the rest of him. The young man was also carrying a couple of towels under his free arm, which he set down off in a corner of the commons. He spread out one of the towels on the ground and upended his book bag onto it, divulging it's thoroughly soaked contents. He crouched down next to the towel and began using the other towel to pat his books dry as carefully as he could. He truly could not afford to replace any of them seeing as he was here at the school nearly on charity as it was. Thinking himself alone in the commons, he grumbled under his breath; bitter and biting comments that did him no good at all save the catharsis of release. 「We met in a dream」This flower says that 「it's a joke」 「Does not exist」You were never here at all

First day- first adventure... or more like a first confusion. After sorting out mountains of paperwork and achieving a decent score at the entrance exam Lillith's requirements for joining this strange, yet very successful school were fulfilled. She returned home to her mother briefly to go through all necessities she might need and pack them up those new fancy suitcases she was gifted. A tiny mountain of notebooks formed inside one of the suitcases, soon accompanied by dozens of pens, pencils and erasers. Next was a good of recipes, diet and exercise guides, phone, charger, headphones and a few good books to steal her attention during the free days. After exchanging goodbyes with mother and aunt Lillith took a bus to the school; thanks to an hour-long travel she is able to witness and savor the mesmerizing landscapes and inhale the scent of fresh and cold breeze. Adorable sight of a little girl playing with her cats made Lillith crack a smile- she just could not help it.
Finally, she arrived at the school. Giving it a few looks around the area she noticed it got much livelier than in the time of her sign-up and entrance exam; quite a sight to see so many people around. Guess she would say it was another scenery filled with emotions and colors. She could not enjoy in the scenery for too long as she had to make her way to the dorms- classes, clubs and all other activities would come soon so it was a good idea to get a bit of knowledge about her surroundings and to where her dorm was. Having followed the map and listened to directions of a few strangers she made her way to the dorms. From the outside, it is a fancy-looking building; made Lillith excited to see how it all looks on the inside. Key information she was given included the number of her dorm, but she could not possibly find it in her mountain-sized pile of documents she was carrying and she found herself in an unknown spot of the dorms. Having recalled the number of the dorm she was given she began looking for it, but got even more lost in the process. "Umm... This is awkward..." She mumbled since dorms were like a miniature labyrinth for her without having gotten used to the outlay. In hope to run into someone who might be more familiar she stumbled upon a person. A young man was crouching on the ground by a bunch of towels and seemed to be going through the inventory of his book bag- it all looked... soaked. There were no visible signs of the rain. She wanted to ask him for directions, but he appeared to be quite busy and how could he not be? The content of his bag looked like it had taken a bath. It would be impolite to distract him- seemed like a lot of trouble. "H-Hello, sir... W-what happened? Do you need help?" Lillith asks the young man with stutters in her tone; her shy personality kicks in every time she meets a new person- some people find it adorable, but some think she should try to learn be more confident in hellos and goodbyes.

Vanishing like the sparks that burst and fly away みつからない。。。
So absorbed in carefully blotting his belongings dry, Bryn failed to notice the girl who had joined him in the room. Usually he was almost hypervigilant when it came to people being in the same space as him; it made living in dorms a circle of hell all to itself. But just then he was so focused on drying his things with a minimum of damage, so focused on his irritation and frustration, that he didn't notice the girl was even there until she spoke up and announced her presence. Bryn jumped a little, startled into dropping the towel as he turned to see who had spoken. He blinked unintelligently a couple of times, not processing the girl's words at first in his startled state. Then they sunk in and Bryn seemed to fold in on himself a little, not quite cringing but nearly. "It's okay," he began, not reacting to the stutter at all as he reclaimed the towel and half turned away. "Just some people who think they're funny, I guess," he said by way of explanation which, in hindsight, wasn't very informative. " It was a prank," he clarified. "I think..." That last bit was muttered under his breath, his expression sour. 「We met in a dream」This flower says that 「it's a joke」 「Does not exist」You were never here at all

Lillith made a few silent steps forward and gave young man's soaked possessions another stare then she turned her attention back towards the young man. He might not have said much, but the way he said made Lillith slightly bitter. The possessions mainly consisted of books and everyone knows what happens to them when they get even mildly wet... 'mild' did not begin to describe that. Who does things like that? People who feel empowered and cooler by hurting and humiliating others- they think it is funny until it happens to them and when it does they get mad. Lillith gently crouched by the young man and his possessions. "I'm sorry." Lillith said in attempt to comfort the young man, but problem was not going to fix itself. It was in Lillith's intention to find her dorm, but that was not something she could ignore. There was plenty of time- dorm can wait. "Oh, please, allow me..." Lillith offered her aid as her hands reached for the young man's bag. Her expression became monotonous and one could notice she was a bit upset- what did this young man do to deserve such savagery? "Umm... I'm sorry for prying, but should you not report this to a teacher?" Lillith innocently inquired. Young man was clearly older than her and could probably do something about this, so Lillith felt a bit discouraged in posing such question in the first place. He already looked distressed because of this so Lillith did not intend to upset him even further than necessary, but her curiosity was killing her at that point because it was not something to keep silent about to a teacher. Vanishing like the sparks that burst and fly away みつからない。。。
Bryn had always been an easy target for bullies; ever since he was a kid. He was such an old hand at this "harmless bullying" business that he didn't even react all that much anymore. There was no use moping or whining about something that he couldn't help and the less he reacted the less the assholes tended to return for a second dose of pain or humiliation or whatever it was they were dishing out that day. To be honest, he was surprised when the girl seemed upset on his behalf over this. A tentative and awkward smile pulled at his lips a little. "Oh it's ok you don't--" but before he could finish that sentence her hands were already on the soggy book bag. "I mean..." He rubbed the back of his neck and looked sheepish. "Thanks..."He set aside the book he had dried to the best of his ability and shrugged, not knowing quite how to respond to the girl's question. "Well..." he dithered, "I'm not sure what they'd do about it. I mean I didn't even see who flooded my room cause they did it from under the door," he grumbled as an afterthought. For lack of anything better to do he shrugged again and began carefully drying out another textbook. 「We met in a dream」This flower says that 「it's a joke」 「Does not exist」You were never here at all

What young man said seemed like a reasonable answer to Lillith. Did it make her feel any better? Certainly not. She was not any happier about the situation and her expression darkened in utmost disappointment. "Oh..." She muttered softly at his answer reflecting upon her own actions- she was new at this school and did not want to sound like a misfit for prying into life and problems of a total stranger. Young man did not appear to have taken his situation seriously either, judging by his, what appeared to be, calm and collected behavior- either he was so cool that he had nerves of steel or was not surprised by the cruel act of people inside this facility. "I don't like that..." She mumbled quietly in disapproval of the awful act. She could not do anything about it or make the young man feel better- her thoughts were scattered all across her busy head she forgot how to form words properly. "People went through such effort just to harm you? Hmph... how tragic and stupid. Must be an ineffective upbringing on their parents' side..." Lillith could not help herself, but give a salty comment on the act. She made an attempt to give an angry expression, but rather than looking serious she looked like an angry teddy bear toy. Her attention was brought back to soaked bag upon making that comment- there was not much left in the bag and she was doing her best to handle what she could. There was no doubt in assumption some of these books were not going to have a happy ending- in the worst case new ones might be needed. Such a shame that was. Those books must have been expensive. "Anyways... I haven't introduced myself, yet. My name is Lillith. Lillith Nero." Girl said after recalling she had forgotten to greet the young man from the start- must have been absorbed in thoughts. "Lilly, for short." She added at the end with a friendly tone as she cracked a smile. Maybe it was not appropriate to do so in a situation like this, but absorbed in thoughts Lillith could not help herself.

Vanishing like the sparks that burst and fly away みつからない。。。
Bryn didn't recognize this girl, but that didn't necessarily mean she was new. Since he didn't socialize much, or hang out in sunlit areas, he didn't know many people at all on sight. Even his frequent classmates were often anonymous faces to him. He should probably make some effort to befriend some of them, but he'd never been any good at that and was afraid to try. However, if there were more people like Lillith around maybe it wouldn't be too bad. He smiled slightly at her reaction, not in amusement but in appreciation. Most people just looked the other way when things went wrong and here was someone he didn't even know not only trying to help but being genuinely distressed on his behalf. He chuckled a little in response to the slight on the parenting skills his tormenters' families may or may not have. "I guess," he said with a shrug. He was still a man of few words but there seemed to be less tension in his body as he spoke to Lillith. "I'm Bryn." He reached out a damp hand to offer a handshake and a slightly wider, if awkward smile. "It's nice to meet you, Lillith. Thank you." 「We met in a dream」This flower says that 「it's a joke」 「Does not exist」You were never here at all

A shy smile escaped Lillith when she saw Bryn's reaction. Her skills with handling other people's feelings and troubles were nothing to brag about so she was glad she did not screw up and make situation even more stressful for Bryn. She slowly reached out for Bryn's hand, accepting the polite handshake as another shy smile showed on her face. Bryn's handshake was very firm and friendly and his face brightened a little bit which made Lillith feel a bit more cheerful herself. As a matter of fact, the entire ambiance felt way brighter than few minutes before. "Nice to meet you... too..." Lillith muttered shyly in response. "So... uh..." She began to mutter again feeling slight discomfort of what she wanted to say. "I just came here... and... I am kinda lost. After this...uh... would you mind helping me find my dorm?" She asked shyly not wanting to occupy the young man if he had other obligations to attend to. He was not a new person here for certain; his appearance suggested he might have been one or two classes beyond her own so he must have been busy dealing with school and other activities already. Would have been rude to take any more of his time- this... unfortunate activity must have taken lots of his times already. At first Lillith had not realized the circumstances, but as soon as it came to her she spoke again. "Uhh... I mean if you have time and if you want! I could find it myself eventually." She burst out once she became aware of her previous question's content. That shyness and lack of confidence in a conversation might be seen differently by different people- her mother thinks it is adorable and so do some other people she knows, but some think it is a huge problem. Hopefully, she had not freaked Bryn out with that annoying behavior of hers. "Heh heh..." She awkwardly cracked a smile at Bryn after bursting all of that out and continued taking care of the remaining inventory that was left.
